Basketball Mount Gambier runs year-round club competitions for boys, girls, women and men across a range of junior and senior grades.
Based at The Icehouse, our competitions provide an inclusive and development-focused environment with clear pathways from junior basketball through to premier senior competition.
New and returning players are welcome.

Competition seasons
Club competitions are played throughout the year, with two seasonal competitions providing opportunities for players to participate across junior and senior grades.
Summer Competition
School Terms 4 and 1
Winter Competition
School Terms 2 and 3
Registration, grading and fixture information is released ahead of each season, with players participating through one of Basketball Mount Gambier’s four clubs.
Junior competitions
Club-based junior competitions are available for:
- Under 16 — Boys and Girls
- Under 18 — Boys and Girls
Junior competitions place an emphasis on participation, skill development, teamwork and preparing players for senior basketball.
Senior competitions
Senior competitions are available for women and men across:
- A Reserve
- Premier Senior Competition — SECBL
Senior basketball provides opportunities for developing and experienced players, including a pathway into the South East Coast Basketball League.

Sports Vouchers
Eligible families can use up to two $100 Sports Vouchers per child each calendar year towards the cost of participation.
To request a reimbursement, email a completed Sports Voucher form and the required bank account details to: admin@basketballmtgambier.com.au
